Teams, made up of engineering students from universities across England, Scotland and Wales are competing in the “Formula Student Diesel Eco Driving Challenge”.
As reported on www.thegreencarwebsite.co.uk, Skills Minister, Matthew Hancock, started the inaugural challenge this week at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ in Westminster, London.
In all, 46 teams are taking part in the three day competition, with the route zigzagging across England, Wales, and Scotland towards the final destination of Aberdeen University on 21 June.
